Fishers of Men
The Fisher's of Men Auxiliary is an organized visitation program which has been used successfully by churches as well as missions, since it's beginning in 1981.
The key to the ongoing success of this program is ACCOUNTABILITY. Responsibility without accountability will slowly produce irresponsibility. If the worker doesn't have someone to hold him/her responsible, he/she will become lax in fulfilling their duty and will eventually drop out of the program.
With Fisher's of Men the following system of accountability is in place: 1) the Pastor, 2) the Visitation Chairman, 3) the Group Captains, and 4) the Team Members.
Sharon Baptist Church Fisher's of Men program follows this structure, because it provides a good basis for individual accountability which is the "key" to the success of this program
